Starting January 31, 2024, the subscription billing method for Managed Service for Prometheus is no longer available for new activations. Existing subscribers can continue to use the service, and upgrades and renewals are supported. However, you must renew before the subscription expires.

Managed Service for Prometheus introduced the pay-by-observable-data billing mode on November 20, 2023. You can enable this billing mode in the Managed Service for Prometheus console. Compared to the previous billing mode, pay-by-observable-data is more cost-effective and manageable. You can switch to this billing mode after your subscription expires.
