At 00:00 on Apr. 7, 2026 (UTC+8), we will update the free tier policy for the Real User Monitoring (RUM) pay-as-you-go plan under Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS). This update clarifies billing by splitting the free tier into separate allowances for sessions and custom reporting.

This update replaces the current monthly free tier of 100 observability capacity units (OCUs) with separate allowances for sessions and custom reporting.

After this change, the free tier allowances for sessions and custom reporting cannot be transferred or combined. For example, if your monthly usage is 90 OCUs for sessions and 10 OCUs for custom reporting, your total usage of 100 OCUs would have been fully covered under the old policy. Under the new policy, your session usage (90 OCUs) exceeds its 80 OCUs allowance, resulting in 10 OCUs of billable usage.
