Starting January 1, 2025, the continuous profiling feature of Application Monitoring in Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) is gradually updated as the performance profiling feature to optimize your experience in application diagnostics.
Changes
The new feature offers enhanced data query options and more intuitive flame graphs. A comparison view is also introduced for easier analysis of data discrepancies.
The medium for storing profiling data changes from the built-in Object Storage Service (OSS) instance to the Simple Log Service instance in your Alibaba Cloud account. This change facilitates the secondary consumption of profiling data.

Impacts
This update does not require any of your operations and does not disrupt your services. During the storage period, all historical profiling data is preserved. However, the change in the storage medium may slightly increase the volume of your profiling data. You can view the data volume on the Usage Statistics page in the ARMS console.
