[Announcement] ack-onepilot agent supports the lifecycle
Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) regularly releases new versions of the ack-onepilot agent to improve capabilities and stability. We recommend that you upgrade the agent promptly to benefit from new features and fixes.
Keeping the ack-onepilot agent up to date provides the following benefits:
-
New features: Access new ARMS capabilities, such as integration in new network environments.
-
Bug fixes: Resolve known issues through updated versions.
-
Performance and stability: Benefit from optimizations that improve the efficiency and reliability of application integration into ARMS.
Starting July 1, 2024, the ack-onepilot agent follows a lifecycle policy to guide your upgrade process.
Lifecycle length
-
The lifecycle of each official version starts from the release date and lasts for six months.
-
If you do not upgrade the ack-onepilot agent before the lifecycle ends, you can still use it as expected. However, when you request technical support, you will be asked to upgrade the agent first.
Upgrade
You can upgrade the ack-onepilot agent on the Add-ons page of the Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) console. For more information, see Manage components.
