Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Customize the public domain name prefix for a Grafana workspace

Last Updated:Mar 11, 2026

Managed Service for Grafana assigns each workspace a default public domain name with a system-generated prefix. Replace the default prefix with a custom one to make the workspace URL recognizable and easier to share.

Important

This feature requires Pro Edition or Advanced Edition. If your workspace uses Developer Edition, update to the Pro Edition or Advanced Edition first.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure that:

  • The public domain name feature is enabled for the workspace. Customization is unavailable when the public domain name is disabled

Customize the prefix

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Managed Service for Grafana > Workspace Management.

  3. On the Workspace Management page, click the ID of the workspace that you want to manage.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Domain Name Management.

  5. On the Personalized Public Domain Name tab, click Modify next to Personalized Public Domain Name.

  6. In the Modify Personalized Public Domain Name dialog box, enter a custom prefix and then click OK.
