When you monitor dozens or hundreds of applications in Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS), locating a specific application becomes difficult. Tags are key-value pairs that you attach to applications to categorize and filter them by team, environment, region, or any other dimension that fits your operations.
On the Applications page, you can add tags to applications, filter applications by tag, and remove tags from applications.
Add a tag
Log on to the ARMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose . In the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Applications page, hover over the
icon next to an application and click Edit tags.In the Edit tags dialog box, add a tag:
Use an existing tag: Click the drop-down list next to Bind and select a tag.
Create a new tag: Click Create tag, specify a key-value pair, and then click OK.
Click OK.
Remove a tag
On the Applications page, hover over the
icon next to an application and click Edit tags.In the Edit tags dialog box, click the x icon to the right of the tag that you want to remove.
Click OK.
Filter applications by tag
On the Applications page, click the Tag drop-down list.
Select a tag to filter the application list. Only applications with the selected tag are displayed.
