Last Updated:Oct 29, 2025

If you no longer use Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) to monitor your application, you can delete the application on the Application Settings page.

Important

Application Monitoring provides a new application details page for users who have enabled the new billing mode.

If you have not enabled the new billing mode, click Switch to New Version on the Application List page to view the new application details page.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Monitoring > Application List.

  2. Select a region in the top navigation bar and click the application.

    Note

Icons in the Language column indicate the application's programming language:

    • Java图标: Java

    • image: Go

    • image: Python

    • - (Hyphen): an application monitored in Managed Service for OpenTelemetry

  3. In the top navigation bar, choose Configuration > Custom Configurations.

  4. In the Probe switch settings section, turn on Pause application monitoring and click Save.

    Important

The modification takes effect immediately without the need to restart the application. After you turn off the switch, your application is no longer monitored, and no further fees are incurred. Proceed with caution when you perform this operation.

  5. Uninstall the ARMS agent. For more information, see Uninstall an ARMS agent for Java and Uninstall an ARMS agent for Go.

  6. After the ARMS agent is uninstalled, choose Configuration > Delete in the top navigation bar.

  7. Click Delete application. In the dialog box, select one or more reasons and click OK.

    Warning

This operation clears all monitoring data of the application, and the monitoring data cannot be restored.

The deleted application does not appear on the Applications page.
