Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Refunds

Last Updated:Jan 12, 2024

This topic describes the refunds of the pay-as-you-go billing method and resource plans of Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) Application Monitoring.

Pro Edition (resource plan)

Refund method

You can submit a ticket to apply for refunds.

Refund flow

Application Monitoring returns a refund based on the actual resource usage.

Note

Application Monitoring refunds the remaining amount of the subscription and stored-value cards to the original payment account. The amount of coupons or vouchers cannot be refunded.

Impact of refunds

After you apply for a refund for one or more resource plans, if your Alibaba Cloud account still has available resource plans, Application Monitoring offsets the quotas from the remaining resource plans in chronological order based on the expiration time. If the quotas of the resource plans are insufficient, the pay-as-you-go billing method is automatically used for the excess resource usage. If your Alibaba Cloud account has a sufficient balance to settle your bill, you can use the Application Monitoring sub-service as expected. If your Alibaba Cloud account does not have a sufficient balance to settle your bills, the bills become overdue. For information about the impact of overdue payments, see Overdue payments.

Basic Edition and Pro Edition (pay-as-you-go)

Application Monitoring Basic Edition and Pro Edition (pay-as-you-go) support the pay-as-you-go billing method. Application Monitoring generates a bill for the previous day on a daily basis and deducts the bill amount from the balance of your Alibaba Cloud account. You are not charged upfront fees. Therefore, you cannot apply for a refund. If your Alibaba Cloud account does not have a sufficient balance to settle your bills, the bills become overdue.
