When you use ApsaraVideo VOD, you may have overdue payments in the following scenarios:

  • You have purchased resource plans. However, the resource plans do not have the sufficient quota for your resource usage, or the resource consumption cannot be deducted from the resource plans. In addition, your Alibaba Cloud account does not have sufficient balance to pay the additional fees.
  • You do not purchase resource plans. However, your Alibaba Cloud account does not have sufficient balance to pay the fees for your ApsaraVideo VOD services.

If you have overdue payments when you use ApsaraVideo VOD, take note of the following items:

  • If the amount of overdue payments does not exceed the extended suspension quota, your ApsaraVideo VOD services are not suspended.
  • If the amount of overdue payments exceeds the extended suspension quota, your ApsaraVideo VOD services are automatically suspended. After your ApsaraVideo VOD services are suspended, you cannot upload new videos to ApsaraVideo VOD and the uploaded and published videos cannot be played. When your ApsaraVideo VOD bill is overdue, you continue to be charged for the bucket that is allocated to you. Therefore, the amount of overdue payments is accumulated.

  • If you add funds to your Alibaba Cloud account within 15 days after ApsaraVideo VOD services are suspended, the services are automatically resumed.

  • If your ApsaraVideo VOD bill is more than 15 days overdue, the system determines that you give up your ApsaraVideo VOD services. Then, the bucket that is allocated to you will be reclaimed, and all data in the bucket, such as uploaded and transcoded video files, will be cleared and cannot be recovered.

View overdue payments

  1. Log on to the ApsaraVideo VOD console. In the top navigation bar, choose Expenses > User Center to view the overdue amount, as shown in the following figure.Expenses
  2. On the Bills page, view the services that generate overdue bills, as shown in the following figure.bills
