    This topic describes how to view the bills of ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS) and also describes the fields in bills.

    Important

    Due to service upgrades, the following changes are made to the bill information of MPS:

    1. From August 9, 2022, the service name changes from ApsaraVideo Media Processing to Intelligent Media Services on the bills of MPS. For more information, see Notice on a service upgrade.

    2. From May 11, 2023, the names of billable items are updated on the bills of MPS.For more information, see the Fields in bills section of this topic.

    3. From 10:00 on May 25, 2023, the Resource Access Management (RAM) user ID is added to the Instance ID field on the bills of MPS. For more information, see the Fields in bills section of this topic.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud User Center.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Bills > Bill Details. On the Bill Details page, click the Billing Details tab.

    3. On the Billing Details tab, select Intelligent Media Services from the Product drop-down list and select a billing cycle.

      You can also configure the Statistic Item and Statistic Period parameters to filter bills. For example, if you want to view the hourly bill details of MPS in March 2023, set the Statistic Item parameter to Billing Item and the Statistic Period parameter to Billing Period.

    Fields in bills

    Instance ID

    The Instance ID field of MPS bills consists of the service instance ID, region ID, RAM user ID, and special values that distinguish between different specifications. For example, a special value is used to indicate the transcoding speed or intelligent production feature.

    Multiple fields are separated by semicolons (;). Example: 17************42;cn-beijing;ram-23************88;5x. The following table describes the fields.

    A common field. For bills that are generated before February 22, 2023, the instance ID is the ID of the RAM user that uses resources. For bills that are generated on February 22, 2023 and later, the instance ID is the ID of the Alibaba Cloud account.

    Region ID

    A common field. The MPS region in which fees are generated.

    cn-beijing

    RAM user ID

    A common field for the fees generated for the use of MPS features except video AI. From 10:00 on May 25, 2023, this field is added to MPS bills. This allows you to allocate costs by RAM user ID.

    • If a bill is generated for an Alibaba Cloud account, admin-{Alibaba Cloud account ID} is displayed.

    • If a bill is generated for a RAM user, ram-{RAM user ID} is displayed.

    Transcoding speed

    This field is displayed only if high-speed transcoding fees are generated. For more information, see the "High-speed transcoding fees" section of this topic.

    This field is displayed only if intelligent production fees are generated. For more information, see the description of intelligent production in the "Video AI fees" section of this topic.
