On August 9, 2022, Intelligent Media Services (IMS) was launched on the Alibaba Cloud official website. IMS is the upgraded version of ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS). IMS and MPS are mutually independent in service. After IMS was launched, the billable items of MPS in your orders are changed to billable items of IMS. However, MPS can be used as usual. The expiration time and billing rules for resources that you have purchased and features that you have enabled for MPS remain the same. Alibaba Cloud does not automatically enable features in IMS without your permissions.
