Billing description
Storage fees are charged based on actual usage. No capacity reservation is required. Before you estimate costs, review the following rules.
Billing rules
Formula — Storage fees = Storage space × Unit price × Storage duration.
Three-replica pricing — subscription and pay-as-you-go instances store data in three replicas. Storage fees are calculated based on the storage space of one replica.
Sampling point — The storage space value used for a billing cycle is the storage space at the start of that cycle. For example, to calculate the storage size from 05:00 to 06:00, the system uses the storage space at 05:00.
Minimum billable duration — If the storage duration within a billing cycle is less than 1 hour, it is billed as 1 hour. For example, if the storage space of an instance is 5.8 GB at 05:00 and drops to 0 at 05:20, the storage fee for the 05:00-06:00 cycle is: 5.8 GB × Unit price × 1 hour.
Pay-as-you-go regardless of instance billing method — Storage fees are always billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, whether the instance itself uses the subscription or pay-as-you-go billing method.
