Background information

ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ supports automatic renewal and manual renewal. We recommend that you enable automatic renewal for your instances to ensure that instances are renewed on time and business continuity is not affected.

Renewal rules

  • Object

Instance renewal applies only to ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ instances of the subscription type. You do not need to renew pay-as-you-go instances. However, you must ensure that your Alibaba Cloud account has sufficient balance to ensure that the instances can continue providing services as expected.

  • Time
    • Automatic renewal: Automatic renewal is triggered nine days before your instance expires. If the first renewal attempt fails, automatic renewal is triggered once a day until it succeeds, up to one day before the instance expires.
    • Manual renewal: You can manually renew your instance within seven days after it expires. If you do not renew the instance within the period, the instance and the related resources are deleted permanently.
  • Time to take effect

The renewal takes effect immediately. The instance expires until the availability period that is specified in the order ends.

  • Cycle

You can renew your instance for a period ranging from one month to six months or one year.
