Starting November 1, 2024 (00:00:00 UTC+8), ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ no longer supports access from Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances in the classic network over HTTP. If your applications use this access method, migrate to a virtual private cloud (VPC) before this date to avoid service disruption.
What changed
After October 31, 2024, the following changes take effect:
HTTP access from classic network ECS instances to ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ is permanently discontinued.
The publictest-rest.ons.aliyun.com and beijing-rest-internal.ons.aliyun.com domain names are no longer valid.
Replace these domain names with the VPC endpoint of your ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ instance.
Are you affected?
This change affects you if both of the following conditions are true:
Your application runs on an ECS instance in the classic network.
Your application connects to ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ over HTTP using either publictest-rest.ons.aliyun.com or beijing-rest-internal.ons.aliyun.com.
If your application already uses a VPC endpoint to access ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ, no action is required.
Migration steps
