Two CloudMonitor metrics for ApsaraMQ for MQTT are deprecated and no longer available. If your dashboards, alert rules, or API integrations reference these metrics, review this announcement to assess the impact on your monitoring setup.
What changed
Due to CloudMonitor policy changes, the following instance-level metrics are no longer supported:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
SendTpsPerInstance | Average number of messages sent per second at the instance level |
ReceiveTpsPerInstance | Number of messages consumed per second at the instance level |
Impact
CloudMonitor no longer supports the following operations for SendTpsPerInstance and ReceiveTpsPerInstance:
Chart display -- Dashboards that reference either metric no longer render data.
API calls -- Queries for either metric return no results.
Alerting -- Alert rules that target either metric no longer trigger.
If none of your CloudMonitor configurations reference these two metrics, this change does not affect you.
Determine if you are affected
Check whether your monitoring setup references SendTpsPerInstance or ReceiveTpsPerInstance:
Custom dashboards -- Open your CloudMonitor dashboards and look for charts that reference either metric. These charts no longer display data.
Alert rules -- Review your ApsaraMQ for MQTT alert rules in CloudMonitor. Rules that target either metric no longer trigger.
API integrations -- Search your monitoring scripts or automation code for references to either metric name. These API calls no longer return results.
