    ApsaraMQ for Kafka supports open-source Apache Kafka clients from version 0.11.x through 3.x.

    Version alignment

    We recommend that you use an Apache Kafka client version that matches the major version of your ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance. For example, if your instance runs major version 2.x, use an Apache Kafka client in the 2.x range.

    To check your instance's major version, open the Instance Details page in the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console.
