Locate the consumer clients that are consuming messages under a Group by viewing the consumption status for each Group in the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console. This topic also describes the possible causes of an empty result.
Query the consumer client IP addresses for a Group
In the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console, view the consumption status of the Group whose consumer clients you want to identify.
On the Consumption Status tab, find the row of the topic that you want to check.
In the Actions column to the right of the topic, click Consumer Details to view the IP addresses of the corresponding consumer clients.
No consumer client IP address is displayed
Problem
The consumption status of the Group returns no data, and no consumer client IP address is displayed for the topic.
Cause
An empty result indicates one of the following conditions:
The consumer client is offline.
The consumer group is in the Rebalance state.
