When you create an ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance, you must specify a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), a vSwitch, and a zone. Get these values from the VPC console before you start.
Important
The vSwitch zone (A to G) must match the zone you select in the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console. For example, if your vSwitch is in Zone B, select Zone B when you deploy the instance.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
An Alibaba Cloud account with access to the VPC console
At least one VPC with a vSwitch already created in your target region
Procedure
Log on to the VPC console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click vSwitch.
On the vSwitch page, find the vSwitch you want to use and note the following values:
Value Description vSwitch ID The ID of the vSwitch to associate with your Kafka instance VPC ID The ID of the VPC that contains the vSwitch Zone The zone where the vSwitch resides. Must match the zone you select in the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console 
Enter these values when you create your ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance.
