    ApsaraMQ for Kafka:Can I access an ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance over the Internet?

    Yes. Use an Internet- and VPC-connected instance to access ApsaraMQ for Kafka over the Internet.

    ApsaraMQ for Kafka provides two instance network types:

    Internet- and VPC-connectedYesYesProducers or consumers connect from outside the VPC

    Enable Internet access

    For a new instance, select the Internet- and VPC-connected instance type during purchase.

    For an existing VPC-connected instance, upgrade the network type:

    1. Open the Instance Details page.

    2. Click Upgrade.

    3. Change the network type to Internet and VPC.

    Note

    Exceptions may occur when a client in the Chinese mainland connects to an instance outside the Chinese mainland over the Internet, or vice versa.
