ApsaraMQ for Kafka:Access links and ports

Last Updated:Mar 11, 2026

By default, ApsaraMQ for Confluent instances are accessible only through private endpoints within your Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). To connect from outside the VPC, enable the Internet access feature to get a public endpoint.

Enable Internet access

  1. Log on to the ApsaraMQ for Confluent console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your instance resides. On the Instances page, click the name of your instance.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane of the Instance Details page, click Access Links and Ports.

  4. Enable Internet access for the services you need:

    • Single service: In the Public Endpoint column of the target service, turn on the switch.

    • Multiple services: Select the check boxes to the left of the target services, then click Enable below the service list.

    Note

Enabling Internet access incurs charges for outbound traffic. For more information, see Pay-as-you-go.

  5. Obtain the public endpoint from the Public Endpoint column on the Access Links and Ports page.

What to do next

After you get the public endpoint, configure security protocols and access control rules for your instance. For more information, see Configure network access and security settings.
