Fees are first deducted at 08:00 on the day that is nine days before your cluster expires. Make sure that your Alibaba Cloud account has sufficient balance.

  • If the deduction failed, the system tries to deduct fees once a day until the deduction succeeds before the expiration date.

  • If you do not renew the subscription before the cluster expires, you will receive a reminder eight, four, and two days before the expiration date.

  • Your instance will be suspended and inaccessible immediately after the cluster expires.

On the seventh day after the expiration of your cluster, computing resources in the cluster will be released and your data cannot be recovered.

If you renew the subscription within seven days as of the expiration, your instance will be immediately resumed and accessible.

You will receive a reminder one day before the release of the resources.

Released resources cannot be recovered.

Pay-as-you-go

Note

Alibaba Cloud allows you to use a certain quota (measured in quantity or time) of cloud services after your pay-as-you-go resources become overdue. The billing continues during this period. However, the quota does not determine the upper limit on your arrears. The quota is automatically calculated and updated every month based on your consumption records on Alibaba Cloud.

You will be reminded to recharge your account 12 and 23 hours after any arrears arise.

Your services will be stopped 24 hours after any arrears arise, and your instance is locked and cannot be accessed during this period.

You can pay the overdue bill and purchase services at any time after the services are stopped due to arrears. On the seventh day after the expiration of your cluster, computing resources in the cluster will be released and your data cannot be recovered.
