ApsaraDB for OceanBase:Release and delete a data migration project

If a data migration project is no longer required, you can pause and release it. After a data migration project is released, you can delete the project to release resources.

Release a data migration project

You can release a data migration project in the Paused, Failed, or Completed state.

Warning
  • The release operation is irreversible. Please proceed with caution.

  • After you release a data migration project, it is terminated. However, it is not deleted. You can still view the details of the project.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Migration.

  3. On the Data Migration page, find the target project and click Release.

    For a project in the Failed state, click More > Release.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

Delete a data migration project

You can delete a data migration project in the Not Started or Released state.

Warning

After you delete a data migration project, the data of the project cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Migration.

  3. On the Data Migration page, find the target project and delete it.

    To find the target project, you can filter projects by the Not Started or Released state.

    • To delete a migration project in the Not Started state, click More > Delete.

    • To delete a data migration project in the Released state, find the project and click Delete.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, enter the project name to confirm the operation.

  5. Click Delete.
