With the monitoring dashboard feature, you can easily monitor related instances or tenants. The monitoring dashboard supports custom objects and metrics to help you focus on key data. You can also add or edit the dashboard at any time to meet different monitoring needs.
View a dashboard
Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Autonomy Service > Monitoring Dashboard.
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, view the default monitoring dashboard.
The default monitoring dashboard displays common performance monitoring metrics of clusters and tenants.
Add a dashboard
In the upper right corner of the Monitoring Dashboard page, click Add Dashboard.
In the Add Dashboard dialog box that appears, specify the dashboard name, which must be unique.
Select the monitoring objects and metrics as needed in the Monitoring Dashboard Configuration section.
Tenant performance monitoring
You can enable Tenant Performance Monitoring to monitor tenant performance.
In the Tenants section, select the tenants to be monitored on the left and click to add the selected tenants.
In the Monitoring Metrics section, select the monitoring metrics on the left as needed, and click to add the selected metrics.
Cluster host monitoring
You can enable Cluster Host Monitoring to monitor hosts in a cluster.
In the Cluster section, select the clusters to be monitored.
In the Monitoring Metrics section, select the monitoring metrics on the left as needed, and click to add the selected metrics.
Click OK.
Edit a dashboard
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, hover over the dashboard name and select Edit.
NoteThe default dashboard cannot be edited.
In the Edit Dashboard dialog box that appears, you can change the dashboard name and monitoring configurations as needed.
Click OK.
Delete a dashboard
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, hover over the dashboard name and select Delete.
In the dialog box that appears, click Delete.
