ApsaraDB for MyBase:Release an instance

Releasing an instance permanently removes it from your dedicated cluster. The instance disappears from the console immediately, and all data is deleted and cannot be recovered. Back up any data you want to keep before you proceed.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • An instance running ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL, ApsaraDB MyBase for SQL Server, or ApsaraDB MyBase for PostgreSQL

  • Downloaded any backup files you want to keep to your local machine

Release an instance

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner, select a region.

  3. Find the dedicated cluster and click Details in the Actions column.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  5. Use one of the following methods to release the instance:

    • Method 1: Find the instance, then choose More > Release Instance in the Actions column.

    • Method 2 (ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL master-replica instances only): Find the instance and click Details in the Actions column. In the left-side navigation pane, click Service Availability. Move the pointer over the instance and click Delete. 主从版删除实例

  6. In the confirmation dialog, click OK.
