ApsaraDB for Cassandra - Deprecated:RAM user management

Last Updated:Jun 20, 2026

This topic describes the permissions for ApsaraDB for Cassandra.

System policies

ApsaraDB for Cassandra provides access control features. For information about common operations, such as creating RAM users and granting permissions, see Resource Access Management (RAM). Like most other instance-based cloud services, ApsaraDB for Cassandra provides two default system policies:

  • AliyunCassandraReadOnlyAccess: Grants read-only permission. Users with this policy cannot perform management operations, such as expanding disks, scaling out nodes, enabling or disabling public network access, or deleting clusters.

  • AliyunCassandraFullAccess: Grants full permissions. In the RAM console, on the Add Permissions panel, select System Policy in the Select Permissions section, search for the keyword cassandra, select the target policy from the results, and grant the permission.
