If you no longer require Cloud-native API Gateway, you can release your Cloud-native API Gateway instances to deactivate the service.
Precautions
After an instance is released, the instance and its data are deleted. Proceed with caution.
You can release only pay-as-you-go instances. The instances stop charging fees immediately after you release them. If you no longer require a subscription instance, you can simply unsubscribe from it.
After a free trial expires, the instance is automatically billed in pay-as-you-go mode. To release the instance at that time, make sure that your account balance is sufficient to cover outstanding charges. Otherwise, you may be unable to use the console to release the instance due to overdue payments.
If you cannot log on to the console to release the instance due to overdue payments, contact customer service for manual handling.
Prerequisites
APIs that reside on the target instance are deleted.
If you did not delete the APIs, your application may encounter exceptions due to service interruption.
To delete an API, log on to the API Gateway console, click API in the left-side navigation pane, find the API, and click Delete in the Actions column.
Procedure
Log on to the API Gateway console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click . In the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Instance page, find the instance that you want to release and click More > Remove Instance in the Actions column. Then, enter the instance name and click OK.
