Overview

Anti-DDoS Basic is activated by default. It provides a mitigation capacity from 500 Mbit/s to 5 Gbit/s free of charge for assets that belong to your Alibaba Cloud account. The assets include Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances and Server Load Balancer (SLB) instances that are assigned public IP addresses. If the mitigation capacity that is provided does not meet your business requirements, we recommend that you purchase Anti-DDoS Origin or Anti-DDoS Proxy instances to increase the mitigation capacity for your assets. Assets that can be protected

Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, Server Load Balancer (SLB) instances, elastic IP addresses (EIPs), EIPs that are associated with a NAT gateway, IPv6 gateways, simple application servers, Web Application Firewall (WAF) instances, and Global Accelerator (GA) instances.
