View instance monitoring information
The Instance Monitoring page in the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console shows real-time metrics for your instance's health, connections, and storage—within any time window up to seven days. Use it to:
Spot abnormal storage growth or connection spikes before they affect your workloads.
Correlate performance degradation with a specific time window.
Confirm that an instance is healthy after a configuration change.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
An AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL instance
Access to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console
View instance monitoring data
Log on to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console.
In the upper-left corner, select a region.
Find the instance you want to monitor and click the instance ID.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

NoteThe interval between the start time and end time cannot exceed seven days.
The Instance Monitoring page has two sections:
Instance status
Displays the current state of the instance, including the following parameters:
Status
Instance Health Status
Instance Connection Status
Instance Storage Status
Instance Storage Usage
Maximum Coordinator Node Storage Usage
Maximum Compute Node Storage Usage
The parameters available depend on the resource type of your instance. For the full list, see Performance parameters.
Performance and loads
Displays time-series performance data for the instance, including the following parameters:
Coordinator Node Connections
Compute Node Connections
Instance Storage Usage (%)
Instance Storage Used (MB)
Compute Nodes
Temporary Disk File Size (MB)
The parameters available depend on the resource type of your instance. For the full list, see Performance parameters.
