AnalyticDB:Performance test for data import and query in Serverless Pro mode

Last Updated:Dec 23, 2025

This topic describes the data import and query performance of AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL in Serverless Pro mode.

Note

The TPC-H implementation in this topic is based on TPC-H benchmarking. These test results cannot be compared with published TPC-H benchmark results because the tests do not meet all TPC-H benchmark requirements.

Configuration information

The test in this topic uses the following Serverless Pro pattern instance type:

  • Reserved computing resources: 96 CUs (96 compute nodes)

  • Serverless cache size: 1 TB

The AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL instance in elastic storage mode used for this test has the following specifications:

  • Compute node specifications: 2 cores, 16 GB

  • Number of compute nodes: 48

Data import performance

The data import test uses an OSS Foreign Data Wrapper (FDW) to import data.

Data query performance

This performance test uses the TPC-H qgen tool to generate 1 TB of data. The test measures and compares the query time of Serverless Pro mode with that of elastic storage mode. For more information about the test operation, see TPC-H. The following table shows the test results:
