Suggestion on edition selection
Industry Operation Edition:
If you want to enhance recommendation algorithms, get started quickly, and do not require excessive algorithm optimization capabilities, you can purchase AIRec Industry Operation Edition. This edition provides various operations tools to help operations and business personnel optimize algorithm strategies.
Algorithm Configuration Edition:
If you want to enhance recommendation algorithms, easily integrate with the algorithms, and have dedicated algorithm experts for algorithm optimization or require greater optimization flexibility, you can purchase AIRec Algorithm Configuration Edition. This edition supports algorithm customization.
Edition upgrade
AIRec instances support seamless upgrades, during which you can continue to using instances. Take note of the following items:
During the trial, you can upgrade instances to AIRec Industry Operation Edition or AIRec Algorithm Configuration Edition. After the trial ends, you must upgrade instances.
You can upgrade instances from AIRec Industry Operation Edition to AIRec Algorithm Configuration Edition.
AIRec instances cannot be upgraded from AIRec Algorithm Configuration Edition to AIRec Industry Operation Edition.
If an instance is being started, upgrade the instance after it is started.
QPS quota: To ensure service stability, we recommend that you select a QPS quota based on actual business situations such as the number of daily active users (DAU) and peak hours. QPS indicates the number of requests that can be processed by a service. If you cannot determine the required QPS during peak hours, we recommend that you define a fallback policy before you use the service. If you use a fallback policy, preset recommendation results will be returned to users when users receive no recommendation results for the requested content. This avoids empty recommended results that occur when the actual QPS exceeds the quota.
Storage quota: You must upload and update the user table and item table at the earliest opportunity. When you select a specific storage specification, we recommend that you consider the number of both daily new users and newly recommended items in addition to existing users and items. You must reserve or increase the quota to prevent data transmission failures caused by excessive number of users or items.
