:Use Team to Schedule Tasks

Last Updated:Sep 17, 2026

Scheduled tasks enable an Agent Team to automatically run a specified task at a preset time or frequency. This topic describes how to enter the collaboration client, and how to create and manage scheduled tasks.

Usage notes

The scheduling capability of scheduled tasks is based on Alibaba Cloud SchedulerX. Work that must run periodically or at a fixed time, such as daily reports and regular inspections, can be delegated to an Agent Team for automatic completion without manual triggering.

Scenarios

  • Periodic reports: An Agent Team aggregates relevant information and generates a report on a daily or weekly basis, such as a daily summary of project progress.

  • Regular inspections: An Agent Team periodically checks the status of services or tasks and proactively reports anomalies to the team.

  • Scheduled reminders: An Agent Team sends a reminder to the team at a specified time, such as a meeting reminder or a deadline notification.

Enter the collaboration client

Scheduled tasks are created and managed in the collaboration client (AgentCore). To enter the collaboration client, perform the following steps:

  2. On the Access Management tab, locate the Collaboration Client (WEB) card in the Endpoints section.

  3. Click Open to enter the login page of the collaboration client.

  5. Enter the password of the user to log on to the team workspace.

  6. In the left-side navigation pane, click Scheduled Tasks to enter the Scheduled Tasks page.
