:Manage Workspace

A Workspace is the basic unit of resource isolation and management in AgentCore. Resources such as model connections, Agents, Teams, Skills, MCP tools, and credentials all belong to a Workspace. This topic describes how to create and switch between Workspaces.

Create a Workspace

You must create a Workspace when activating the AgentCore service. It is ready to use once activation is complete. You can create additional Workspaces as needed.

1. Log in to the AgentCore console.

2. Click the drop-down list box in the upper-left corner of the page.

3. In the menu that appears, click Create Workspace.

4. Enter a Workspace name.

5. Choose whether to bind a VPC, and configure:

   Parameter	Description
   Bind VPC	Whether to configure private network resources for the Workspace. When disabled, the following parameters are not displayed. When enabled, you must complete the VPC and vSwitch configuration.
   VPC	Required. Select the VPC used by the Workspace.
   vSwitch	Required. Available after selecting a VPC.

   Note

   You must select at least 2 vSwitches and ensure they cover at least 2 different availability zones.

6. Click Create to complete the creation.

Switch Workspace

1. Click the drop-down list box in the upper-left corner of the page.

2. In the list that appears, select and click the Workspace you want to enter.
