When multiple Agents in a team need the same configuration, configuring them one by one is inefficient and error-prone. Based on the AgentSpec specification, Agent templates provide reusable configuration templates that support defining once and creating multiple times to quickly deploy Agents with identical configurations. This topic describes how to create, view, and delete Agent templates.
Import an Agent template
Log on to theAgentCore console.
In the left-side navigation pane of the Workspace details page, click Agent Templates.
Click Import Template.
Upload Compressed Package, upload a template packaged locally in ZIP format to the console.
Click Confirm Import.
Create and manage an Agent template
Log on to the AgentCore console.
In the left-side navigation pane of the Workspace details page, click Agent Templates.
Click Create Template, and configure the following parameters.

Name
The name of the Agent.
File
Define the content of the SOUL.md and AGENTS.md files.
Skill Binding
Select the skill to bind.
SubAgent
Select the SubAgents available to the Agent. Configure the name and the AGENTS.md for each SubAgent. A maximum of 20 SubAgents can be configured.
After configuration, click Create Now.
On the Agent Templates page, view the created Agent template entries.
Click Details to view information.
Click Delete to delete a created Agent template.
