Container Service for Kubernetes:Container Service Agent scheduled tasks

Last Updated:Jun 11, 2026

The scheduled task feature in Container Service Agent lets you periodically run intelligent O&M tasks, such as scheduled inspections and cost governance.

Feature overview

The scheduled task feature in Container Service Agent automates O&M operations, such as intelligent inspections and cost governance, on a predefined schedule. This automates periodic cluster governance. You can create, edit, and manually trigger scheduled tasks, and view the results of each execution. The following video demonstrates how to create, configure, and run a scheduled task.

Enablement and authorization

This feature is currently in a canary release. To use this feature, submit a ticket.

To enable Container Service Agent, complete the Container Service Agent authorization.

  1. On the ACK cluster list page, click the name of your target cluster. In the navigation pane on the left, choose ACK Agent.

  2. On the Tasks tab, if you have not enabled the conversational feature of Container Service Agent, click Authorize Now to complete the one-time service authorization.

  3. Switch to the Scheduled Tasks tab to create and edit scheduled tasks. You can also manually trigger them and view their execution status.
