In the event of deduction failure on the due date (T), the deduction is attempted again on the 7th day (T+7) and 14th day (T+14) after the due date. If all the three deduction attempts fail, the E-HPC cluster enters the payment overdue state and is automatically stopped on the 15th day (T+15).
All nodes in the E-HPC cluster with overdue payment enter the stopped state, but data is retained for a short period of time. However, billing stops after the cluster enters the stopped state.
- Data of the cluster with the overdue payment is retained up to 30 days (T+30) from the due date.
- If you do not clear the payment and restart the cluster before the due date, the cluster is automatically released and the data is lost beyond recovery.
The E-HPC service remains in the stopped state until the cluster with the overdue payment is either recovered or released.
Data can be retained for 7 days (168 hours) from the day the cluster is stopped, unless the cluster is configured for an automatic release before the retention period ends.
If overdue payment is not cleared within 7 days after the cluster is stopped, the cluster is released and all the data is lost beyond recovery.
