How do I configure my ESA Entrance plan to use Chinese mainland acceleration after it has been unlocked?

You can enable Chinese mainland acceleration for a new or existing website.

For a new website:
1. When adding a new website, select Global for the acceleration region.
2. Choose the Entrance plan.
For an existing website:
1. In the ESA Console, go to Websites.
2. Click the name of your website.
3. On the Overview page, switch the acceleration region to Global.

What can the remaining balance of a Pro or Premium plan coupon be used for?

The remaining balance can be used for other charges including:

Covering traffic fees that exceed your plan's quota.
Purchasing new ESA plans.
Upgrading existing ESA plans.

How do I find my Alibaba Cloud account ID?

Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the Alibaba Cloud console. Your account ID will be displayed in the dropdown menu.

Is there a limit to how many times my account can receive a free Pro plan?

No, there is no limit on how many Pro plans you can get for your Alibaba Cloud account.

However, the promotion is limited to one claim per linked social media account per week. When you apply, we link your social media account to your Alibaba Cloud account ID.

What are the alternative ways to get a free ESA Pro plan without posting on social media?

You can get free plans through community activities.

Join the ESA Discord community. We regularly distribute redemption codes and coupons.

How can I downgrade my website from a Pro or Premium plan to the free Entrance plan after it expires?

The ability to downgrade from a Pro or Premium plan to the Entrance plan is not yet available but is planned for a future release.

For now, you can continue using the service by participating in the weekly posting promotion to receive a new Pro plan each month.

What kind of content is more likely to get me a Premium plan?

Publish high-quality, in-depth content that is valuable to the community.

We recommend creating posts such as product reviews, performance comparisons, or detailed user experience guides. Posts that generate more likes, comments, and views have a significantly higher chance of being selected for a Premium plan.

Is there a scheduled end date for the "Post to get ESA" promotion?

Yes, you must keep the post online.

To maintain access to the Chinese mainland acceleration feature, the post must remain publicly accessible. If the post is deleted, your access may be revoked.

How do I check if my Alibaba Cloud account is managed by a channel partner?

Navigate to the Account Center.
In the left navigation pane, click Security Settings.
Look for a section titled Distribution Relationship.

If this section exists, your account is managed by a channel partner and is not eligible for this promotion.

What are the specific requirements for a valid post on RedNote for the ESA promotion?

To qualify, your post on RedNote must include two types of images:

An image containing an ESA-related element, such as a console screenshot, a speed test result, or an official product image.
An image that displays the free plan link.

What is the validity period for the promotional coupons?

Coupons are valid for 365 days from the date of issue. Exception: Coupons issued on July 7, 2025, are only valid for two weeks.

Please note that expired coupons cannot be redeemed. An expired coupon is still considered your reward for the week it was issued, and you cannot claim another for that same period.
