Subscription cloud computers have limited validity periods. If you want to continue using cloud computers after they expire, you must renew the cloud computers within the grace period. Otherwise, the system automatically releases the cloud computers and permanently deletes the data on them. This topic describes how to renew subscription cloud computers.

Renewal methods
Renewal methods include manual renewal and automatic renewal.
Manual renewal: When subscription cloud computers expire, the system provides a grace period of 30 days before it releases the cloud computers. Before the cloud computers are released, you can manually renew them whenever needed.
Automatic renewal: After you enable the auto-renewal feature, the system automatically renews subscription cloud computers. This effectively prevents automatic release of cloud computers caused by overlooked renewal.
Auto-renewal rules
You can enable the auto-renewal feature when or after you create subscription cloud computers.
After you enable the auto-renewal feature, the system automatically deducts fees from your Alibaba Cloud account nine days before the expiration date. You must make sure that your Alibaba Cloud account has sufficient balance. If the automatic deduction fails, the system notifies you by email. We recommend that you regularly check your email for this kind of notifications to prevent automatic release of cloud computers upon expiration.
If you perform manual renewal before the system triggers auto-renewal, auto-renewal is not triggered during the same billing cycle.
Renew premium bandwidth plans and cloud computers at the same time
If you bind a subscription premium bandwidth plan to the office network of a subscription cloud computer, you can determine whether to renew the subscription premium bandwidth plan together with the cloud computer based on your business requirements. The following rules apply if you renew them at the same time:
If a subscription premium bandwidth plan is bound to a cloud computer, the premium bandwidth plan expires at the same time as the cloud computer after the renewal.
If a subscription premium bandwidth plan is bound to multiple cloud computers, the premium bandwidth plan expires at the same time as the cloud computer that has the longest subscription period after the renewal.
Example: Premium Bandwidth Plan A is bound to Office Network A that has two subscription cloud computers. After the renewal, the first cloud computer expires on April 26, 2023 and the second cloud computer expires on May 01, 2023. In this example, Premium Bandwidth Plan A expires on May 01, 2023.
Automatic renewal
You can use one of the following methods to enable the auto-renewal feature:
Enable the auto-renewal feature when you create cloud computers. For more information, see Create cloud computers.
Enable the auto-renewal feature on the Renewal page before cloud computers expire. In this case, you can manually specify a renewal cycle.
To enable the auto-renewal feature on the Renewal page, perform the following steps:
Log on to the WUYING Workspace (Pro Edition) console.
In the top navigation bar, move the pointer over Expenses and select Renewal Management.
On the Renewal page, configure the Expire At, Instances, and Region parameters.
You must set the Instances parameter to WUYING Workspace (International Site - Subscription).
On the Manual tab, perform one of the following operations based on your business requirements:
NoteYou can renew only cloud computers that are in the Running state and whose countdown to expiration exceeds one day.
Renew a single cloud computer: Find the cloud computer that you want to renew and click Enable Auto Renewal in the Actions column.
Renew multiple cloud computers at the same time: Select the cloud computers that you want to renew and click Enable Auto Renewal in the lower-left corner of the Renewal page.
In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, specify a renewal cycle and click Auto Renew.
The following renewal cycles are supported: 1 Month, 2 Months, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, 2 Years, and 3 Years.
After you enable the auto-renewal feature, the cloud computers are displayed on the Auto tab. You can view and modify auto-renewal settings or disable the auto-renewal feature based on your business requirements. If you want to modify the renewal cycle for a cloud computer, go to the Auto tab to find the cloud computer and click Edit Auto Renewal in the Actions column. Then, select another renewal cycle based on your business requirements.
Manual renewal
You can manually renew a subscription cloud computer before the cloud computer is released.
Log on to the WUYING Workspace (Pro Edition) console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the upper-left corner of the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Cloud Computers page, perform one of the following operations based on your business requirements:
Renew a single cloud computer: Find the cloud computer that you want to renew and click Renew in the Actions column.
Renew multiple cloud computers at the same time: Select the cloud computers that you want to renew and click Renew in the lower part of the page.
On the Renew Cloud Computer page, check the information of the cloud computers that you want to renew and specify a renewal cycle.
The following renewal cycles are supported: 1 Month, 2 Months, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, 2 Years, and 3 Years.
Confirm the expiration time and fees of the cloud computers after the renewal and click Confirm Order.
Complete the payment as prompted.
