You must activate ApsaraVideo Live before you can use it. This topic describes the process including activating ApsaraVideo Live, selecting a metering method, and purchasing resource plans.
Background information
ApsaraVideo Live is an audio and video live streaming platform that is developed based on industry-leading content access and delivery capabilities and powerful transcoding technologies. ApsaraVideo Live supports large-scale, distributed real-time transcoding, provides ultra-low latency and high concurrency, delivers high-definition and smooth video content, and is easy to access. Prerequisites
An Alibaba Cloud account is created and real-name verification is complete. To create an Alibaba Cloud account, visit the Alibaba Cloud official website. For more information, see Create an Alibaba Cloud account.
Activate ApsaraVideo Live
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website and go to the ApsaraVideo Live product page. Click Activate Now.
On the page that appears, click Activate.
On the ApsaraVideo Live buy page, select Pay-By-Traffic or Pay-By-Peak-Bandwidth as the metering method, tick I have read and agree to ApsaraVideo Live Terms of Service, and click Activate Now. Then, you can use the ApsaraVideo Live console.
Purchase resource plans
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website. In the top navigation bar, choose .
On the ApsaraVideo Live product page, click Resource Plan.
On the resource plan buy page, select a resource plan type, specify relevant specifications, and click Buy Now.
If you have an overdue payment, you cannot purchase resource plans.
NoteLive data transfer plans are available only if you select the pay-by-traffic metering method.
