    Quick BI:Report Configurations

    Organization administrators can configure report-related global functions, including configuring exported data types and channels for reports that support export, configuring report query controls to remember all query conditions in the current organization, and configuring reports to support operations in the view state. This topic describes how to configure a report.

    Platforms

    On the homepage, follow the instructions in the following figure to go to the Report Configuration page.

    Query control configurations

    • In the Query Control Configuration section, select Remember Query Conditions.

      After this feature is enabled, the system saves query conditions that users use. After a user specifies query conditions and clicks Search on the report view page, the specified conditions are saved. When the user opens the report page, the last conditions that the user specified are automatically used.

    • In the Query Control Configuration section, select Nullable Enumeration Values for Query Conditions.

      When the user browses the report, if there are empty values in all enumerated values in the drop-down list and tree drop-down in the current query control, it will be displayed. When the check box is deselected, the enumerated values will be filtered out and will not be displayed.

      • If you select Select, (Null) is displayed if the enumeration value in the drop-down list contains null values, as shown in the following figure.

      • If No is selected and null values exist in the enumerated values in the drop-down list, null values are filtered and not displayed, as shown in the following figure.

    • In the Query Control Configuration section, you can enter the upper limit of supported manual input value.

      Note

      • The default value is 1000 and the maximum value is 10000, which can be freely entered within this range.

      • We recommend that you do not enter a value that is too high. Some databases may fail to be queried.

    View state features

    • If you select relevant configuration items in the View state function, users can perform relevant operations when browsing the dashboard report. If you do not need to perform operations on dashboards in the organization, do not select this configuration. The view state supports the following configuration items:

      ①: editing

      ②: linkage

      ③: Collection

      ④: Comments

      ⑤: Share

      ⑥: export

      ⑦: metric monitoring (alerting)

      The following figure shows the check box after you select all the check boxes: image

    • Drag sorting is supported.

    • If you select View state feature by default, the dashboard preview page appears. The view state feature is hidden by default.

    Font configuration

    Description

    If the font in the report needs to support Alibaba Inclusive, you can select this configuration items. That is, you can select Alibaba Inclusive when you configure the font style for the report.

    You can also set the Default Font parameter. The query performance is significantly improved in the following scenarios:

    Export configurations

    Description

    Note

    When the export format is Excel, it is recommended to open the report in Excel after export for better compatibility with various data format.

    Parameter

    Parameter/Option

    Name

    Whether the name is used for server storage

    You can choose to customize the default name of the exported file.

    If you select the check box, the naming rule also takes effect when you export to a server and cannot be modified during export.

    File Format

    Pictures, PDF and Excel.

    You can select one or more formats.

    Export channel

    Local and Server

    You can select Server, Local, or both.

    Default Export Type

    Export data with formats and Export data only

    You can select whether to export Excel with formatting based on your needs.

    When you select different types of export, the amount of exported data is the same, and the time to export data varies depending on the computer configuration or the amount of data. It is recommended to export Excel with more than 500000 cells and use pure data export.

    Note

    This parameter is required only if you set Export Format to Excel.

    Server Settings

    Note

    This parameter is displayed only if the Export channel parameter is set to Server.

    Server name

    The name of the file server.

    Server Type

    Supports OSS servers.

    Endpoint

    Specify the endpoint of OSS based on the region where the destination bucket is deployed. For more information, see Domain names and data centers.

    Bucket Name

    The name of the destination bucket.

    Note

    A bucket is created.

    Path prefix

    Specify the OSS folder in which the files that store exported data are located.

    AccessKey ID

    The AccessKey ID that is used to access the specified bucket.

    AccessKey Secret

    The AccessKey secret that is used to access the specified bucket.

    Watermark Settings

    Allows you to hide watermarks and always show watermarks

    Set Always Show Watermarks to Do Not Undo Watermarks During Export.

    Self-service data retrieval file

    Repeated download, only one-time effect

    configuration items affects the download function of the self-service retrieval file. By default, the file can be downloaded repeatedly. If you select Only Once, the generated retrieval file can be downloaded only once.
