To use the anti-ransomware feature of Security Center, you must purchase and enable the feature. This topic describes how to enable the anti-ransomware feature.
Limits
Only the Anti-virus, Advanced, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions of Security Center support this feature. For more information about how to purchase and upgrade Security Center, see Purchase Security Center and Upgrade and downgrade Security Center.
Procedure
- Log on to the Security Center console. In the top navigation bar, select the region of the asset that you want to manage. You can select China or Outside China.In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- On the Anti-blackmail page, click Authorize Immediately.
View and purchase the anti-ransomware capacity
If the anti-ransomware capacity is insufficient, anti-ransomware policies are automatically disabled and data backup fails. Before you create an anti-ransomware policy, make sure that you have purchased sufficient anti-ransomware capacity. You can perform the following steps to view and purchase the anti-ransomware capacity.
- Log on to the Security Center console. In the top navigation bar, select the region of the asset that you want to manage. You can select China or Outside China.In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- In the Used Capacity /Total section of the Anti-blackmail page, view or purchase the anti-ransomware capacity.
- View the anti-ransomware capacity
View the anti-ransomware capacity that you purchased and used in the Used Capacity /Total section.
- Purchase the anti-ransomware capacity
Click Upgrade. In the panel that appears, click Upgrade. On the page that appears, configure the parameters based on your business requirements and complete the payment.
