This topic describes the impacts on the resources in an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster when the cluster expires or your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment.
Warning If your cluster expires or has overdue payments, renew your cluster or top up your account to avoid impacts on your business.
Cluster type | Impact |
Subscription cluster | On the sixteenth day after a cluster expires, the cluster is locked and cannot be accessed. On the sixteenth day after the cluster is locked, the computing resources in the cluster are released and all data stored in the cluster is deleted.

Pay-as-you-go cluster | If you have an overdue payment in your Alibaba Cloud account, all pay-as-you-go clusters in this account become overdue. From the second day to the fifteenth day after a cluster becomes overdue, the cluster is locked and cannot be accessed. On the sixteenth day after the cluster is locked, the computing resources in the cluster are released and all data stored in the cluster is deleted.
