This topic describes the impacts on the resources in an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster when the cluster expires or your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment.

Cluster billing method Impact
Subscription
  • In the first seven days after a cluster expires, the cluster is locked and cannot be accessed.
  • On the eighth day after the cluster expires, the computing resources in the cluster are released and all the data stored in the cluster is deleted.
Pay-as-you-go
  • If your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment, all pay-as-you-go clusters that belong to your account become overdue.
  • On the first day after the payment becomes overdue, each pay-as-you-go cluster runs normally and the resource usage is still billed.
  • On the second day after the payment becomes overdue, each pay-as-you-go cluster is locked and cannot be accessed.
  • On the ninth day after the payment becomes overdue, the computing resources in the pay-as-you-go clusters are released and all the data stored in the clusters is deleted.
