Global Accelerator (GA) is integrated with CloudMonitor to provide a variety of monitoring metrics, such as inbound and outbound bandwidth of an acceleration area, inbound and outbound bandwidth of the region to which an endpoint group belongs, and the number of concurrent connections to an accelerated IP address.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Global Accelerator console.
  2. On the Instances page, find the GA instance that you want to manage, and click the icon in the Monitor column.
You can perform the following steps to filter monitoring data by region and time period:
    • Click Region, and select a region from the drop-down list.
    • Click Time, and select a time period from the drop-down list.

By default, the system displays monitoring data collected within the last hour.

The following table describes the monitoring metrics.
    Metric Description
    Acceleration Region
Outbound Bandwidth The bandwidth consumed by connections from the outside to the acceleration region. Unit (default): bit/s.

You can click bps next to the monitored item and select a unit from the drop-down list. Supported units include Kbit/s, Mbit/s, and Gbit/s.

Inbound Bandwidth The bandwidth consumed by connections from the acceleration region to the outside. Unit (default): bit/s.

You can click bps next to the monitored item and select a unit from the drop-down list. Supported units include Kbit/s, Mbit/s, and Gbit/s.

Concurrent Connections The total number of connections in the acceleration region.
    Endpoint Region
EndPointGroup Inbound Bandwidth The bandwidth consumed by connections from the GA instance to the endpoint group in the specified region. Unit (default): bit/s.

You can click bps next to the monitored item and select a unit from the drop-down list. Supported units include Kbit/s, Mbit/s, and Gbit/s.

EndPointGroup Outbound Bandwidth The bandwidth consumed by connections from the endpoint group in the specified region to the GA instance. Unit (default): bit/s.

You can click bps next to the monitored item and select a unit from the drop-down list. Supported units include Kbit/s, Mbit/s, and Gbit/s.
