When you develop an application, you can connect to DLA in the Data Lake Analytics console, by executing code, or by using a client.
Preparations
To connect to DLA, you must obtain the following information:
Network address and port
Log on to the Data Lake Analytics console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Endpoint, and then click Create endpoint to view the network address and port. To connect to DLA over the Internet, use a classic network endpoint. To connect to DLA over the private network, use a VPC endpoint.
Note:
In DLA, a VPC network is an endpoint (single tunnel) that provides a service access channel from the specified VPC to DLA.
To connect to DLA from multiple VPCs, create a VPC endpoint for each VPC. Each VPC endpoint has unique endpoint information.
Username and password
You can connect to DLA with the root account or with a sub-account that you created by using the root account.
Log on to the Data Lake Analytics console. In the top navigation bar, choose Message > More.
On the Internal Messages page, find and click the message titled Notification on Data Lake Analytics account initialization to view your DLA account and password.
