Why I Migrate My Domains From CDN to ESA Pro, The New Genenration CDN but Beyond CDN

To the ones who are still using CDN, I can only say that you're out. Alibaba Cloud launched the ESA to replace the DCDN few years ago, and DCDN is the updated CDN.

To the ones who are still using CDN, I can only say that you're out. Alibaba Cloud launched the ESA to replace the DCDN few years ago, and DCDN is the updated CDN. So for ESA, it is the next and next generation of CDN.

The feature I like most is the analytics dashboard, it is just like I drived Tesla, and look back CDN should be similar with I drive back to my old Nissan (^-^)

And I just use Pro, which is not high priced, only 15USD a month and include 500G free data, it will turn to PAYG if I exceed, and there's no other cost, like request or WAF or anything else(WAF is free! but if you need smart routing there's payg)

You know what, compared with the CDN price, ESA is even cheaper, and it include WAF, and basic DDoS protection, some anti-bot features, and AI Captcha and some others. It is far better than CDN. And the PAYG traffic price only cost 0.03 USD/GB for all regions even include China, quite a good price!

Why not Cloudflare

I can only say that I have no choice and can't use Cloudflare, because Cloudflare speed in China is not as you want. And my website got a lot China Traffic.

Besides that, ESA provide all features equivalent and even more compared with Cloudflare, I also don't need to change my DNS nameserver to Cloudflare, I use Alibaba Cloud DNS as my provider which can resolve my DNS which support precise control. ESA can use CNAME just like tradditional CDN.

I didn't compare more, becasue my servers are also on AliCloud, no need think too much becasue they are integrated better.

Premium got more advanced features, but I may upgrade later if I got more users.
