Activate Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) to deploy and manage distributed applications on Alibaba Cloud.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
An Alibaba Cloud account with completed real-name verification
Purchase EDAS
Go to the EDAS product page.
Click Buy Now.
On the EDAS buy page, select a product type: Subscription or Pay-As-You-Go. For more information about pricing, see Billing overview.
Configure the following parameters:
Parameter Description Edition Select Standard, Professional, or Platinum. For a detailed comparison, see Editions. Instances with Application Deployed Select the number of application instances. If you are new to EDAS, start with 1 to 5 instances and scale up later based on your workload. Renewal duration Select a renewal period for the EDAS subscription. This parameter is available only for the Subscription product type. Log in with your Alibaba Cloud account and complete the purchase.
After activation, click Console to open the EDAS console.
Authorize EDAS on first login
When you log in to the EDAS console for the first time, a Security Authorization Tip dialog box appears. Complete the authorization:
Click Authorize Now.
On the Cloud Resource Access Authorization page, click Confirm Authorization Policy.
