Security Center:Basic Edition and Anti-ransomware module support elastic protection

Last Updated:Jul 14, 2026

What's new

Security Center Basic Edition and Anti-ransomware module now support elastic protection, which uses a hybrid billing model that combines subscription and pay-as-you-go billing.

Important

When actual usage does not exceed the purchased quota, the billing model remains unchanged and no additional fees are incurred.

  • Within the purchased quota: Protection continues based on your existing subscription plan. No additional charges are incurred.

  • Exceeding the purchased quota: The excess is automatically covered by elastic protection and billed on a pay-as-you-go basis (post-paid). No manual scale-up or supplemental orders are required.
