Standard Edition and Professional Edition
RDS Copilot offers a Standard Edition and a Professional Edition (paid):
Standard Edition: Supports all RDS Copilot console features. You can use AI-powered database diagnostics and optimization at no cost. This edition is ideal for developers, database administrators (DBAs), and other technical staff who want to improve operations and maintenance (O&M) efficiency.
Professional Edition: Builds on the Standard Edition with added capabilities: API access (for integration with internal enterprise platforms), batch instance health checks, and ecosystem integrations such as DingTalk and Lark robots. It includes dedicated technical support. You can also purchase AI Capacity Plans to boost O&M efficiency. This edition is designed for enterprise-level intelligent database O&M.

You can purchase AI Capacity Plans for the RDS Copilot Professional Edition to increase task concurrency, speed up batch health checks, reduce AI diagnostics time, and enable unlimited API calls. Each AI Capacity Plan provides approximately +10 task concurrency, faster health checks, and improved slow SQL optimization.

Billing
The RDS Copilot Standard Edition is free of charge.
The RDS Copilot Professional Edition has two types of charges: the RDS Copilot edition fee (base fee) and the AI Capacity Plan fee.

AI Capacity Plan fee: USD 1,448 per month (maximum of 5 plans)
