DMS supports RDS instances and databases installed on ECS instances. These database instances can be deployed in classic networks or VPCs, and DMS allows you to migrate a database from a classic network to a VPC network.
Procedure
Log on to the DMS console and open the Quick Logon page.
Select a database instance. The instance can be deployed in a classic network or VPC network.
Specify the required parameters and click Log On to log on to the specified database instance.
Reason:
DMS servers are deployed in Alibaba Cloud internal networks. After authorization, you can access the databases deployed in classic networks through the DMS console.
DMS is integrated with the VPC. After authorization, you can access the databases deployed in VPCs through the DMS console.
