This topic describes video recording types and whether the types are supported in different editions of the short video SDK.
Recording types
The short video SDK supports the following recording types: basic recording, duet recording, and multi-source recording.
Basic recording: Videos are recorded by using the camera.
Duet recording: An existing sample video and a video that is taken by using the camera are recorded at the same time and arranged in the specified layout.
Multi-source recording: Videos collected from multiple sources are merged, such as videos recorded by using screen recording and videos recorded by using the camera.
Supported editions
The following table describes the recording types that are supported by each edition. Ticks (✓) indicate that a type is supported and crosses (×) indicate that a type is not supported.
