Problem

The following error message appears when you disable the deletion protection or configuration read-only mode for a pay-as-you-go Server Load Balancer (SLB) instance.

Message: The operation is not allowed. 
Code:ActionNotAllowed
Request ID:123****789

Causes

If your Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments, you cannot change the configuration of a pay-as-you-go SLB instance.

Solutions

Log on to the Expenses and Costs console to check whether you have an overdue payment. If your Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments, you must complete the overdue payments before you can change the configuration of your SLB instance.
